classroom settingAs  specialists in dementia care, the JPA team has a range of professional experience in occupational therapy, nursing, psychology and social work. We provide a comprehensive choice of courses that are regularly updated in accordance with developments in legislation and in best practice knowledge.

In October 2010 dementia care training changed dramatically. NVQs were replaced with QCFs and a new qualification was created in dementia care. There are four levels of qualifications for staff who are supporting those people with Dementia.  Our new training qualifications fit with Objective 13 of the National Dementia Strategy, which is to achieve an informed and effective workforce for people with dementia.
