Theory and Practical – Half Day Course

lady and carerThis course of practical exercises, tutorial and group discussions, is suitable for individuals who are involved with the manual handling or movement in a patient care environment. It is designed primarily for preventing injuries to those involved in health and social care. It covers an introduction to manual handling, appropriate legislation, and the anatomy and functions of the spine. It also covers risk assessments and how adopting correct techniques can minimise risk of injury.
